Explore one of Iceland’s most famous geothermal regions. Here you’ll see steaming vents, bubbling mud pools, and the spectacular Strokkur geyser, which erupts every 5–10 minutes, reaching up to 20 meters high. A visitor center with shops and food options is nearby.
⚠️ Please stay on marked paths, as the ground hides boiling water beneath the surface.
Known as the “Golden Falls,” this two-tiered waterfall drops a total of 32 meters into a dramatic canyon. Fed by glacial meltwater from Langjökull, Gullfoss is one of Iceland’s most powerful and awe-inspiring natural wonders.
Visit the striking Kerið crater lake, formed over 3,000 years ago when a volcanic chamber collapsed. Its red and black slopes contrast beautifully with the bright turquoise lake at its base. A pathway lets you walk around the crater’s rim for amazing views. Fun fact: Kerið has even been used as a concert venue thanks to its natural amphitheater shape!
The highlight of the day is a relaxing visit to the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. Soak in its warm, mineral-rich, milky blue waters, known for their skin-healing benefits. Surrounded by stunning lava fields, the lagoon offers the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. In winter, you might even spot the Northern Lights dancing above the lagoon.
After your visit to the Blue Lagoon, we return to Reykjavík. You’ll be dropped off at the same location where you were collected in the morning.
