Cancellations of Day Tours

 

More than 48 hours’ notice                                           Full refund

Less than 48 hours’ notice                                            No refund

 

If a customer informs us about canceling their trip at least 48 hours before the tour starts,

we will provide a full refund.

 However, if the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the tour begins,

we regret that we cannot offer a refund, as all preparations for the tour are already completed, resulting in a loss for us.

 

All cancellations must be made by e-mail [email protected] and confirmed by Fly to Iceland. We are obliged to charge cancellation fees as follows:

Canceled less than a week before the Helicopter tour – 100%

 

Cancellations  of Multi-day, Self-Drive, Group & Trekking Tours

 

More than 14 days’ notice                                           100% refund

Less than 14 days’ notice                                             50% refund

Less than 48 hours notice                                            No refund

 

If a customer cancels their trip more than 14 days before the tour starts,

they are eligible for a 100% refund.

For cancellations made within 14 days but more than 48 hours before the tour begins, a 50% refund will be provided.

 However, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour start time are not eligible for a refund .

 

Cancellations of Private & Customized Day Tours (Individuals and Group Bookings)

 

More than 72 hours’ notice                                               100% refund

Less than 72 hours’ notice                                                  No refund

 

For private and customized day tours,

cancellations made more than 72 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a 100% refund.

However, cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour begin are not eligible for a refund,

as preparations will already be finalized.

 

Cancellation Process 

 

If the weather conditions are unsuitable for traveling, we will issue a 100% refund. Additionally, if all bookings are completed but the tour has not yet commenced, we will process refunds in accordance with our policy.

If a customer requests to reschedule their tour but we are unable to accommodate the change for any reason, a 100% refund will be provided.

Important Note: All cancellations must be notified via email to [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time to qualify for a 100% refund.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Clients who experience delays due to cancellation, illness, or failure to reach the pick-up point will not be entitled to a refund, either in full or in part.

NOTE    Please make sure to reach the pick-up point 30 Minutes in advance to avoid any issues.
