Our South Coast Bus Tour from Reykjavík starts with a fast and efficient pickup service. We can pick you up from different central city locations. After this, we travel along Iceland’s famous Route 1 highway and head east of the city along the beautiful southern coastline. Our team will guide and entertain you throughout the journey.
Skógafoss waterfall is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland, and it attracts thousands of tourists. This powerful waterfall is fed by the Skógá River.If you stand below this waterfall, you can feel the power of the water and listen to its sound, which gives you inner peace and calm. It also shows the natural beauty of Iceland.
After visiting the village of Vík, we go to Reynisfjara Beach. It is famous for its black sand and tall basalt cliffs. This beach was formed when lava from the Katla volcano met the ocean and quickly cooled into black sand.
Our next stop is ólheimajökull Glacier, part of Mýrdalsjökull . We walk a short distance to see the glacier up close and learn about climate change and global warming. The ice has melted back, creating a beautiful lagoon. You may also get a chance to touch the glacier if it is safe.
Our final and most awaited stop on our tour will be Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This waterfall offers the perfect photo opportunity, especially if you take the trail that leads behind it. Just be aware that this may be a wet experience, so we recommend wearing moisture-wicking or water-resistant clothing.
